Many moons ago, beneath the whispering leaves of a secret Banyan tree on a beach in Goa, two sonic storytellers, Mandala and Braincell, met in the stillness of the night and spoke of stars, sounds and the rhythms of the universe.<\/p>\n
What began as cosmic conversation soon evolved into a shared mission: to transform their stories into sonic journeys and send them out into the world.<\/p>\n
And thus, the Undercover Babas were born.<\/p>\n
The Story of Us is a chronicle of that journey. A collection of 13 tracks that reflect the madness, the mystery and the magic of their time together.
\nTen of these tales have echoed across dance-floors before, one has been freshly remastered and two are brand new transmissions from the heart of the Babas.
\nOne is a full-power psychedelic stormer, that is raw, rhythmic and unmistakably theirs. The other drifts in slower currents, a deep ambient trip through inner space.<\/p>\n
