The History of Nano Records

Origins & Foundation

Nano Records was founded in the early 2000s by Regan Tacon and Gareth Tacon (also known as Hydrophonic), together with Anselm Guise (DJ Ans / The Electric Ant).

The label was born out of the underground outdoor party scene in Cape Town, South Africa. The founders were deeply involved in organizing psychedelic events and wanted to capture and spread the unique energy they experienced on the dancefloors. This vision led to the official creation of Nano Records around 2001–2002.

Soon after, in order to expand internationally, the label established a base in London, UK, creating a powerful bridge between the South African and European psytrance scenes.

Ιστορία & Ίδρυση

Το Nano Records ξεκίνησε στις αρχές της δεκαετίας του 2000 — η εταιρεία ιδρύθηκε από τους Regan Tacon και Gareth Tacon (γνωστούς ως Hydrophonic), μαζί με τον Anselm Guise (DJ Ans / The Electric Ant).

Το Nano Records ειδικεύεται στον ήχο του psychedelic trance (psytrance).
